Commuter Meal Plan

How It Works

  • Three levels to choose from
  • Charge it to your Bursar account
  • 10 percent discount on prepared items at Campus Dining  locations
  • Accessed conveniently with your Penn State id+ Card
  • Available for fall and spring semesters

The Commuter Meal Plan provides an option for off-campus students to enjoy the wide variety of food and beverage choices on campus. Only off-campus students enrolled for the upcoming semester are eligible for the plan.

Students living on campus are required to purchase the Campus Meal Plan.

Purchasing the Plan

The Commuter Meal Plan can be purchased at the eLiving website and charged directly to your Bursar account. Only students who have at least one class scheduled are eligible to purchase the Commuter Meal Plan. Fall plans can be purchased until September 30; spring plans can be purchased until February 28.

Leftover Funds

  • Leftover funds carry over from fall to spring semester.
  • Leftover funds after the spring semester are forfeited.
